About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog. I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary (usually about 6 months behind), plus any cards as required. I have a new found love of Watercolour and Bible Journaling plus recently Faith/Art Journaling too. I've challenged myself to make an art journal page a day for this my 60th year. Previously I've also dabbled in ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery amongst other things. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing. I also like walking/Geocaching and sometimes do a bit of Bouncing on my Rebounder (mini trampoline). I have been learning to play the harp for the past 10yrs. I am now officially retired. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Vineyard Church.

WOYWW #799 - Oh My Life!

I seem to be having a bit of a minor medical issue time. Dentist last week was slightly traumatic but nothing major required. Sunday I had an eyesight issue, diagnosed as a corneal abrasion in my line of sight. Got drops and it's better now but really scary at the time as I was driving...

Just my daily journal pages this week

Wednesday evening I followed a Christian process listening to God through words and pictures. This is what I came up with.

Thursday I was feeling a bit sad and this song came into my head.

Wish I had somewhere to fly away to sometimes.

Not sure what was going on here, happy flowers sad tears and some doodles...

Saturday I went to a craft group with my Cuttlebug and used the organisers dies to do some cutting out.

The monkey reminded me of an Eddie Izzard sketch about learning French at school and how the phrases don't quite help you!

Sunday a painting of the offending left eye (as I see it in a mirror)

Monday I was inspired by a page I saw on a FB group. Loved the colours and doodles.

Tuesday's page..started with left over pieces of yesterday's page as collage, then paint, stencil, doodle.

Think the colours reflect my mood - not great!

Happy WOYWW Everyone.

My mate has an old cuttlebug she is getting rid of and as it is jut the middle size manual die cutter I need I am snagging it. So I can store my Big Shot Pro till I really need it. Phew.
A quick hop before knitting at mine!

EEk stuff indeed, oh well, heave a big sigh that that's done for a bit.
(I hope)
Love the doodle at the end.
I played the Eddy Izzard sketch and had a real giggle with my friend who also knows a bit of French. So thanks for that big smile this morning. (French for breakfast!)

I find this tends to happen, you are fine for ages and then your body decides to have several things wrong with it at the same time. Loving the journal pages. Have a good woyww. Hugs Angela x13x

Hello BJ, sorry your having such a hard time at the moment. That eye problem must have been so frightening for you! I'm glad to hear it's improving with treatment. Your projects are, I think, a good way to deal with all that's going on with you at the moment. They are also beautiful. Here's hoping for a better week ahead. Hugs, Elizabeth x #8

Love all of your work that you are sharing with us but Thursdays ages really appeal to me
Sorry to hear about the abrasion - I once did that and it took a few visits to the eye hospital to get it right - so painful.
Take care
Hugs, Neet 1 xx

I'm so impressed with you doing a journal page everyday! I really should make that a priority in my life too. My favourite journal this week? The Wednesday evening one with the butterfly. So sorry about your eye, how did you get an abrasion while driving? Heal quickly, Lindart #17
