About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog. I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary (usually about 6 months behind), plus any cards as required. I have a new found love of Watercolour and Bible Journaling plus recently Faith/Art Journaling too. I've challenged myself to make an art journal page a day for this my 60th year. Previously I've also dabbled in ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery amongst other things. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing. I also like walking/Geocaching and sometimes do a bit of Bouncing on my Rebounder (mini trampoline). I have been learning to play the harp for the past 10yrs. I am now officially retired. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Vineyard Church.

WOYWW #426 - Blue

Had the sewing machine out yesterday to fix a muslin which had become a bit holey.
Thought you'd prefer that shot than the empty one of today!

The delivery came as scheduled last week and it was in a HUGE box compared to the size of the item. My son and I just had to have a play!

Skylight all done now, it took a whole day for the boys to fix it.
Now that's better!

Last week I performed surgery on my third Corsa Doll, "Blue" to replace his batteries so now he says, "C'Mon" again. You can see he is a bit bigger than "Red" and "White" and doesn't have a hanger loop.

Still not got back into my scrapping, oh well one day.........

Happy WOYWW Everyone.

It's just twigged what a Corsa Doll is! I had one when I bought my Corsa but I cannot for the life in me remember what colour he was. I passed the car on to my son when I gave up driving - wonder if he still has the doll? Mine did not talk I might add.
Love the big box your son is hiding in.

Ah but it's still satisfying to get a huge box delivered..I know not why!! Lovely replacement job...a much better view now! And get you with the sewing, am impressed. My repair jobs sit about for months - I dont mind making but I do hate repairing! I havent scrapped since February, I cant seem to get to it.

Glad everything arrived as scheduled. The new skylight certainly lets in more light and colour. I can remember getting a tiny scarf once in a box that was about 2' x 1' x 6" and was amazed at the waste! Happy WOYWW Sarah #12

Oreo would have loved that box - just goes to show teeangers are similar to cats! Is that a little feather right in the middle of your new skylight? Well done on your repair projects! Have a lovely week! zsuzsa #22

Sad part is, if they can't get you with price of the product, they will get you with the shipping costs! Sad, but true! Your package, within the package, looks too cute! I have many of those projects in my closet that are awaiting surgery on from my girls that I have YET to get to! Not sure what I'm waiting on? LOL Cute little guys you have there! Happy Wednesday and get back to that scrapping! LOL Blessings, Felicia #27

Hope you get back to some scrapping soon - at least the new skylight will let in more light! - and you have blue sky - not much of that to be seen in NI today - my home area made the news with 50 plus army cadets having to be rescued from the mountains due to the awful weather!

It amazes me how big some of the boxes are that arrive with tiny things but at least they are less likely to get lost in the post. Have a great woyww and happy crafting, Angela x15x

It's not just kitty's who can't resist an empty box... Skylights are amazing - useful and soooo aestetically pleasing :)
I'm a bit late visiting, but thank you for dropping by my desk yesterday :)
Happy WOYWW!

Happy Very Belated WOYWW. I had a very small item delivered from Amazon last week - in a massive box, big enough for me to get in - and metres of that paper they use for packing. Really ridiculous. I have set up my small sewing machine table again (had taken it over for my Bible journaling stash), but not got round to actually doing any sewing. Soon! Ali x #20
