About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog. I'm a lapsed crafter of late but still managing my diary Scrapbooking, plus cards as required. Previously I've also dabbled in ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Art Journaling, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery amongst other things. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband and son. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing, not really got back to the latter since the pandemic. I like walking which I couple with Geocaching and sometimes Bouncing on my Rebounder (mini trampoline). I am a Christian.

Scavenger Hunt 2016 : Part 1

Horrah, the hunt is on!
Check it out here.

Yes each Summer a list is published and we are unleashed onto unsuspecting family, friends, and further afield to get photos for each item on the list. We get a little "artist's licence" with each item so it is a fun time.
Here are my first photos:-

I managed to avoid taking a photo of my husband's bike(s) but may have to get him in his team logo lycra for #15!

A headlamp bulb had gone on my car so we popped into Halfords where I took this photo of a cute little pink bike - start as I mean to go on I say!
#10 A Bike

I have just done this scrapbook page from my birthday outing back in February.

We went to RHS Wisley to see the butterflies (3 more pages pending on the trip btw)

#08 A Scrapbook Page

I just had to take a photo of myself with this month's calendar page as I like it so much. I was perched on the kitchen counter to take this!

#21 Me with a Calendar Page

I guess we usually wait until near the end to do this one but I couldn't resist.

So come on, join in the fun, take some photos and share the Summer.

Pop over to Rinda's for the list and get snapping.....

I hadn't even thought about the scavenger hunt, so I'm glad you posted your first entry and a link to Rinda's challenge. Love the bike. Now I'm off to find out what rules I have to follow this year!

Yes, BJ. Kristin announced last year there would be no more Summer of Color. Sad but true.

Hope you get to see the Queen. I'm surprised you can see her without prior "screening." Here in the states, to see a dignitary, you usually have to be screened in case you decide (or your intent is) to shoot the person. Of course, since guns aren't as common in the UK, I guess that doesn't concern most of your countrymen.
