About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog. I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary (usually about 6 months behind), plus any cards as required. I have a new found love of watercolour and Bible Journaling plus recently Junk Journaling too. Previously I've also dabbled in ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Art Journaling, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery amongst other things. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing, but am plagued by a bad back. I like walking which I couple with Geocaching and sometimes Bouncing on my Rebounder (mini trampoline). I guess I am officially retired now. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Vineyard Church.

WOYWW#456 - 20th Anniversary

Jolly glad it wasn't this cold, nor snowing when I got married 20 years ago!

Although I think there was a slight flurry during our reception.

Not much afoot on my desk, Anniversary card made, eventually.

Interesting theme you may think? Well 20 years is China and as I've been stuck in with the bad back this was all I could manage in that department.

Back is getting better slowly. Osteopath was amazing, excruciatingly painful but exhilarating at the same time! Had Aunty Flo to deal with since so not sure where the back ache was emanating from at times this week!

Jug of water on desk was from ironing, but keeping to osteopath's advice only 10 minutes at a time, hence big pile left to do and board still out.

I also made a card for a friend's son who shares the date.

Happy WOYWW Everyone.

Well, big congratulations on your anniversary. I remember it was foggy when i got married and my photos outside church did not turn out - shame as I had the Guides there doing a guard of honour.

Glad you have got some relief from your back ache - hope it keeps on working but only 10 minute spells at crafting ... I spend more than that in getting things out and thinking what to do.

Hugs, Neet 5 xx

Congratulations on your anniversary - I love the card. Sorry to hear your back has been bad, hope you are on the mend and hope the other troubles stay under control - I'm off the Norethisterone now and all seems to be going well, but still not fully confident to venture too far from home!
Have a good week,

Here's to 20 more years. I hear that steamer is better than an iron and easier. Since I do not have one that is from a friend who does. We buy non iron everything!
Hope you back improves and the weather. Hugs Monica #27

Hi BJ, congratulations to you both on your 20th anniversary. Lovely card. Glad to hear your back is improving. Not overkeen on ironing, but I do have a steamer rather than an iron and it does get through it far quicker. Have a lovely week Heather x #31

Happy returns for your anniversary! I never not once interpreted it as China the country...clever you! Mind ours was so long ago that I don’t think I was a card maker then. Glad to hear the back is letting you do little amounts of stuff, it really does feel doubly worse because it’s such a waste of good time isn’t it.

Congratulations on 20 years! I love the anniversary card. I had forgotten that there was a color/item/etc attached to the year...I had to go look it up! Sorry I am so late getting around this week but all sorts of things jumped in my way! Vickie #32
