Hoping the crafting will start up again then amid the tears!!
Meanwhile, sitting on my desk, I have the book for my new Ladies Bible study which starts on Friday.
Out on the landing are ever growing piles of stuff for my son.
Still waiting for the ultrasound for my foot but managed badminton last night all the same.
Still wearing vest tops and sleeping with the window open, these hormones may save on heating this year!
Happy WOYWW Everyone.

Is it you or your son counting the sleeps until he goes to Uni. Sure you will miss him. Now that book sounds interesting. Have a good week. ANikcoana
Happy WOYWW. That book looks interesting. I have not managed to find any Bible study groups locally, so just about to start with a book that I purchased a few weeks ago and not even opened yet - 'Discovering Hope in the Psalms' by Pam Farrel & Jean E. Jones (with illustrations by Karla Dornacher - who I love). This is a creative Bible study. I am always cold during the day, but at night I often get woken by being too hot (and I already sleep naked). Not severe enough to need the window open though! Ali x #7
I know you will miss your son - but he'll be back regularly I am sure (washing in tow if my brother's student days are anything to remember!) Have a good week. Helen #1
HI BJ, I can sympathise, all my life I've suffered from being too hot at night. Even in the middle of winter I'll have a window open. The worst thing is that when I get too hot, I suffer from terrific nightmares. I remember having one awful one in hospital when I was recovering from my surgery. Didn't help that I was on Morphine & Ketamine, and a heat & drug addled brain had me convinced the staff were trying to kill me. Oh well.I got some dies from the Range, thanks for that info. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #6 XxX
It's a tough one when your kids leave home but it's how things should be...I found both mine appreciated being home so much more after having to sort everything out themselves at uni! I sympathise with the feeling warm all the time, same here....

I'd have to sleep alone, my DH would hate such a cold room! I expect your mojo will return when a new routine begins. Try to think of how happy your son will be rather than how unhappy you could be. I miss my girl hugely, but am OK with it because I know she's happy and feels secure. Hard, innit, being a Mum.
Hope you and your son settle in to the new routine once he leaves for uni. I'm sure he'll be back regularly with plenty of dirty washing for you to do. Hope your temperature is a little more regulated soon! Sarah #26
I remember those days of getting my DD ready for University - so exciting on one hand, and sad on the other. She left at age 17, never to return (to live anyway, she visits a lot!), having fallen in love with the big city of Toronto (and a certain classmate. . .!), so I can empathize with you, and let you know, that as sad as it is when they leave, you do get used to it! And life goes on, so craft away, it will help! I also remember going through a few winters with the fan on me, and still too hot, having to put ice on my feet, so glad those days are over! Hope it doesn't last too long for you! Have a great week, thanks for sharing, Lindart #31
Hi BJ. Oh golly - I remember both those sorts of days... too hot... throw the covers off... too cold... pull the covers back up. In the meantime totally disturb John!!! I also remember the day I took Joy to university and Ruth off to a HUGE house to be the family nanny. Gulp, swallow - and a packet of polos! The very effort to get one out stopped most of the tears until I was in the car!!
Take care, girl. You'll get through it. God bless.

I had to smile over that hopeful thought. I think I have not saved a nickle on the heating bill yet ( my husband who feels like a broiling heater to touch has started to feel "cold" and turning the heat up ...) Hopefully your son will be able to visit during the school holidays. (( HUGS ))

Hi BJ, that has to be the tidiest desk I have seen in a while! Hope you get your mojo back soon. I constantly throw the cover off me at night... and it's a 1 tog quilt! Can't wait for it to end! Have a lovely week Heather #30
Hi BJ, I loved my student days and I'm sure he will too but I'm sure he'll soon be back to see you again.... with his washing of course! Have a great woyww and happy crafting, Angela x16x
