About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog. I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary (usually about 6 months behind), plus any cards as required. I have a new found love of watercolour and Bible Journaling plus recently Junk Journaling too. Previously I've also dabbled in ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Art Journaling, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery amongst other things. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing, but am plagued by a bad back. I like walking which I couple with Geocaching and sometimes Bouncing on my Rebounder (mini trampoline). I guess I am officially retired now. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Vineyard Church.

WOYWW #668 - Stripped

Well I managed a bit of colouring despite colouring not being my "thing".

Don't do any of the nice shading thing you guys do, I just bung the colour on!

Other than that I've been in the garden mostly.

Also stripping our son's old room! Some of you wondered how long it would be till it became a craft room?

Well we've decided to leave it as a bedroom for the time being in case he visits. I just needed to rid the tiny room of all the dust and posters!

I stood on the bed base and broke it so it's in the process of being mended and all the stuff therein is on the landing - so many toys!

Here's me vacuuming and also our son's new "work" desk. Love his dinosaur. He even got a plant! Not seen the "play" desk yet!

Happy WOYWW Everyone

Hope you manage to mend the bed base OK BJ. I like the colouring - nothing wrong with block colours. Good luck with the rest of the sorting. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #3

Oh breaking bed bases is a current thing…I did the same thing in preparing for visitors this week…felt very foolish because I’ve done it before and even as we were talking about using it again (it’s a fold up temporary bed) Mr Dunnit reminded me not to step on it. Of course I failed!! I expect the friend that gave you the book will love to see your colouring, they have impact don’t they, those verses amongst the patterns.

Hi BJ, lovely colouring- sometimes like here it’s block colours that work best.
Thanks for the tip about the changes in the Duolingo update. It is a hodgepodge, isn’t it?
Hope the bed can be repaired ok.
Take care and happy WOYWW

Sounds like lots of us are on with the sorting in one way or another. In a way it's probably a good job the bed collapsed before it happened with someone in it Lol! Loving the colouring, looks good to me. Sending happy woyww hugs, Angela x13x

Morning BJ. Goodness - your son's desk is just like mine!! Bought from the same large store, no doubt...? Well done on the colouring - even though you say it's not your thing. Good results.
Take care. God bless.

Oh dear, fancy breaking the bed!!All the colouring books people bought me when it was a thing are gathering dust. I'm not a great colour, I'm afraid I don't find it relaxing because it takes too long, so stick to small things. So just do what makes you happy!! I'm not a great colour, I'm afraid I don't find it relaxing because it takes too long, so stick to small things.

That’s the thing about colouring, there is no right way just how you enjoy doing it! I love all the bright colours. It made me laugh your son getting a plant, mine did too, he calls it ‘adulting’!

Happy WOYWW. Glad to see you using Henry Hoover there. I wouldn't be without my Henry - although he is now reserved for the dirty jobs in the house (like the boot room and around the log burner) and doing the vehicles! Sadly I can't do a lot of colouring - hurts too much to hold a pen. I find that using my IPad and the Procreate app is easier. Ali x #18
