About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog. I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary (currently a year behind!), plus any cards as required. As my Carpal Tunnel allows I am getting into yarn/fabric crafts with slow stitching and needle felting added to my list. I continue with my love of Watercolour and Bible Journaling plus Faith/Art Journaling with acrylics and inks. I completed my challenge to make an art journal page a day for my 60th year in 2024. My list of crafty exploits includes ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing. I also like Walking/Geocaching. I have been learning to play the harp for the past 10yrs. I am now officially retired. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Evangelical Church.

WOYWW #843 - Scrapbook Albums

Here's the "empty" desk from the new desk perspective with the latest scrapbook pages on the hanger (top right). Was having a pink moment.

You can see my scripture writing for this week bottom right and just above that the latest RHS Magazine.

And the shelf unit with ALL my 12x12 photo/scrapbook albums 18 former and now 20 latter plus 4 extra ones of special layouts.

I finished off the last album for February 2025 with my 61st Birthday/Valentine's and then....

... phase 2 of the gasworks! It really did have a huge impact on us as the road closures forced us to take huge detours to get anywhere!

I "gutted" the backing paper so I'd have enough of the same for the lettering.

Next came our 27th Anniversary and an impromptu geocaching walk in the lovely sunshine.

I finished the album with a few odd photos from February 2025.

Hubby on his static bike - "spinning"

Me getting a "25" photo for the geocaching 25th anniversary. We are only 9 minutes away from the M25 so it just had to be done!"

Plus another of the metal garden sculptures up at last although it has been moved since...

So on to my 21st Album and a few photos of Our Street in March 2025.

Then we're up to the ones hanging up, of my church group and our son's visit plus a few extras which are on a sheet to tuck between the pages.

Debating putting these two in the album the other way round so the photo heavy page is on the left. They were in the same week so not such a problem.

Then the scripture writing.

Matthew 5:6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness for they shall be filled (satisfied).

Happy WOYWW Everyone.

Fabulous colourful Scripture pages, great layouts too. They have closed the road next to the site today, not sure how much of a detour we will have to make! Happy WOYWW. Angela #10

Another great bunch of LOs, what a great way to jog memories when you look at these in the future. I use my blog a bit like that, will pick a random week from way back when and remind myself of what I made as I’ve usually forgotten!
