About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog. I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary (currently a year behind!), plus any cards as required. As my Carpal Tunnel allows I am getting into yarn/fabric crafts with slow stitching and needle felting added to my list. I continue with my love of Watercolour and Bible Journaling plus Faith/Art Journaling with acrylics and inks. I completed my challenge to make an art journal page a day for my 60th year in 2024. My list of crafty exploits includes ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing. I also like Walking/Geocaching. I have been learning to play the harp for the past 10yrs. I am now officially retired. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Evangelical Church.

WOYWW #840 - Quiet on the Crafting Front!

Yep a bit sparse this week as making the most of the cooler temperatures before the next heatwave hits!

But still I have got the blackout blind down in my room and windows shut as it's going to be a very hot week.

I received my photo order 160+ prints taking me up to the beginning of June.

I had a few extras I forgot to print last time, namely a photo of our son in Westminster Cathedral back in August last year. I make a sheet to slot in between the pages and put a ribbon on top so you know something is there.

I'd missed his favourite Japan photo so that will be in the next photo installment and can fit nicely on the back of this sheet.

The only other page is of my Son's Uni Group get together last November. He's blurred out his friend's faces as far to many to ask permission of!

Just December of 2024 to go now - Whoop! Whoop!

My daily scripture writings on The Beatitudes continues..

Here's last week's finished and the beginnings for this week..

I did a page in my Faith Journal about the heat and how it is so difficult for me. I used the RHS magazine envelope flowers for it.

Really love how the colours worked out and the words I found. The flowers remind me of fire so a good reflection of my feelings about the heatwaves we're experiencing down here in the South East.

Happy WOYWW Everyone.
