About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog. I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary (currently a year behind!), plus any cards as required. As my Carpal Tunnel allows I am getting into yarn/fabric crafts with slow stitching and needle felting added to my list. I continue with my love of Watercolour and Bible Journaling plus Faith/Art Journaling with acrylics and inks. I completed my challenge to make an art journal page a day for my 60th year in 2024. My list of crafty exploits includes ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing. I also like Walking/Geocaching. I have been learning to play the harp for the past 10yrs. I am now officially retired. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Evangelical Church.

WOYWW #841 - Scrapbook Update.

Tuesday's Desk from the window getting lots of windy miller today although still warm for me (and this is a so called cool day!!!)

Think I may have confused some last week with my scrapbooking progress so here's a recap....

1) I scrapbook my day to day photos chronologically.

I started scrapbooking back in April 2005 but backtracked to December 2003 when I got my first digital camera. I'm on my 20th 12"x12" album each containing 60 layouts.

2) I buy a job lot of prints through Photobox every 6 months or so. (160 approx)

Not sure I like their updated webpage so wouldn't recommend after 20 years of using them.

***Does anyone have another site for photo printing they like? Please let me know in the comments or by email. THANKS ***

3) I have just finished scrapbooking 2024 - whoop whoop.

December's Wreath making at my new church and the last day at my old church.

Son's birthday and Christmas visit

End-of-Year Geocaching souvenir reached FROM CAR with a few other geocaching hides, finds and curiosities.

4) I'm only 6ish months behind now. Yay.

The Jonah Series completed with 3 more pages on the final chapter.

I did these hunkering down in room with AC Unit 24/7.

I remembered to deal with the small half page appropriately this time, so any words didn't overlap and confuse issues.. It worked out quite well in the end.

There will be some bonus pages and the cover piece at some point.

Other than that I will need to fill the journal with other watery tales from the Bible methinks. Some other ladies did their own nautical pictures so I'll copy those too.

My weekly scripture writing continues, here's last weeks worth on the second Beatitude.

Blessed are they who mourn as they will be comforted. Matthew 5:4

Happy WOYWW Everyone.
