About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog. I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary (currently a year behind!), plus any cards as required. As my Carpal Tunnel allows I am getting into yarn/fabric crafts with slow stitching and needle felting added to my list. I continue with my love of Watercolour and Bible Journaling plus Faith/Art Journaling with acrylics and inks. I completed my challenge to make an art journal page a day for my 60th year in 2024. My list of crafty exploits includes ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing. I also like Walking/Geocaching. I have been learning to play the harp for the past 10yrs. I am now officially retired. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Evangelical Church.

WOYWW #837 - Scrapped

Oh my got back into scrapping this evening and nearly forgot my post!

Here's my desk, still loving extra table.

My scrap LOs are up on a coat hanger.

My son and his mates in Japan last Autumn.

I did a couple of Bible paintings for the end of the book of James as we are studying that in church at the moment.

And a Journal page hoping for more sleep.... Had my air-con on in my room ALL DAY hoping I manage to sleep better now.

Happy WOYWW Everyone.

Wow, memories! I made many Japan pages back in the day. Yours are great as usual. Love seeing them. Also saw your air con on FB I think. Yeah, us too, We have one in the server room (lots and lots of computers in there) and one for a bedroom where we can all hunker down for the night. Didn't used to need one but these days it seems there are more and more 30 degree days. Ugh

The temps are less warm here on the coast but I still don’t enjoy the heat! I sympathise with the sleeping, it’s hard. Lovely LO pages, your son looks like he had a great time!

Love your Japan pages, as I really enjoyed my time there nine years ago. Beautiful LOs, too.
I don’t enjoy being too hot either. We have an iced water fan downstairs and fans upstairs. If it’s too hot to sleep I dampen my skin with a flannel, then the evaporation cools me down.

Great pages and layouts. We are now in Northumberland and so far haven’t had the heat. Today is cloudy and there is a breeze, quite nice really. I hope you manage to get to sleep. I didn’t sleep too well last night and feel over tired this morning! Happy WOYWW. Angela #9
