About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog. I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary (usually about 6 months behind), plus any cards as required. I have a new found love of watercolour and Bible Journaling plus recently Junk Journaling too. Previously I've also dabbled in ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Art Journaling, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery amongst other things. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing, but am plagued by a bad back. I like walking which I couple with Geocaching and sometimes Bouncing on my Rebounder (mini trampoline). I guess I am officially retired now. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Vineyard Church.

WOYWW #573 - Starry Starry Night

My desk has seen a bit of action the past week,

This is due to me eventually finishing the jigsaw

It took over 2 weeks to complete!!!

First up I sorted out the refills in my last remaining 3 scrapbook albums. 30 pages in each! The bed comes in real handy for crafting of all kinds.

Then I was compelled to do a bit of Bible Journalling.

Now I'm back to the scrapping...

Happy WOYWW Everyone.

Jigsaw is a superb thing when you have room for it. Making it in 2 weeks, wow - I love the theme.
I use my bed sometimes too. It's good with space

Thank you so much for sharing!

Morning BJ. Oh my! That jigsaw is something else. Well done on finishing it!! I pile things onto my bed, too, when in the middle of something and run out of room on the landing!! Great use of space. How do you choose what texts to journal? Are they specific to the day you read them? Texts that have meant a lot? Bible journalling isn't something I do, but everyone who does, seems to approach it differently. The pages are great - illustrate those texts beautifully. I love the idea of God flinging stars into space, don't you - creates a great image in my mind.
Take care. Stay safe. God bless.

Oh well done, the puzzle is amazing! I lent my MiL a Thomas Kincaid Christmas one and she’s on about week 3 now, its a demon!! Love the Henry page, I miss the usability of a Henry but I got to the point of screaming over how best to store it, wrangling the pipe and tube into the cupboard and it never standing up and falling out when the cupboard was opened... no surprise really, knowing how impatient I am about everything! Your Bible journaling is really coming on. How do you decide what to do, or do you wait for the text to inspire you? Loving the lettering!

Your Bible journaling is stunning, BJ! I particularly love your Holy Spirit flames, and the Genesis creation page too. It's all so beautiful! Your gorgeous colourful paint palette is a delight as well. Well done completing what looks like an extremely complicated jigsaw. I also loved how you dedicated a scrapbook page to Henry!! We have 2 Henrys (one inherited from Mum) so we have one for downstairs and one for upstairs - saves lugging him up a long flight of stairs each time! We had our Henry for a wedding present (34 years old and still going strong - both Henry and us lol!). He's had a new pipe but that's about it.

Happy belated WOYWW,
