About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog. I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary (currently a year behind!), plus any cards as required. As my Carpal Tunnel allows I am getting into yarn/fabric crafts with slow stitching and needle felting added to my list. I continue with my love of Watercolour and Bible Journaling plus Faith/Art Journaling with acrylics and inks. I completed my challenge to make an art journal page a day for my 60th year in 2024. My list of crafty exploits includes ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing. I also like Walking/Geocaching. I have been learning to play the harp for the past 10yrs. I am now officially retired. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Evangelical Church.

WOYWW #826 - Much Better

Thanks to God I am feeling much better this week despite being wiped out after church on Sunday.

Desk has this week's Lent pages I am working on so here's the completed week 4 from last week.

Names of Jesus were:-

Sunrise, Creator, Word, The Way, Eternal King and Shepherd.

I've done a few scrapbook pages covering April LAST YEAR.

Some "rocks" kindly donated from a church friend and some geocaching outings.

Then hubby's friend's leaving-do and his record store day outing (no I didn't go to either).

Followed by some more geocaching in Godstone, now famous for the mega sink hole which appeared last February.

Finally a Bible watercolour from another Lent series.

Hope and Rest to Soar, from Isaiah 40:31

but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Happy WOYWW Everyone.

Oh good news you are feeling a bit better! That one page, with all the orange? That would make anyone feel brighter. So pretty. And scrapbooking always makes me happy so a lovely visit for sure. Hope the commenting still works. I tred to tweak a few things so we'll see...
No knitting today, Poppy is not very well

Glad you’re feeling better! Is your hubby a vinyl fan? We’re selling ours on eBay at the moment, it’s good fun and amazing to see where it all goes!

Glad you are feeling better. Love your Bible journaling pages, love those images too. I can see the benefits of having a bigger book. Fabulous closeup of the beetle from Godstone. Take care x Angela #11

As I didn't get around everyone last week I thought I would try and be early this - it may just be your Wednesday still but it is already my Thursday morning! What a lot of lovely crafting you have done this week. I particularly like Week 4. Glad you are feeling better. Happy WOYWW! Susan #15
