About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog.I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I keep a Scrapbooking Diary but not done much this year. I love yarn/fabric crafts with slow stitching and needle felting added to my list. I continue with my love of Watercolour and Bible Journaling plus Faith/Art Journaling with acrylics and inks. My list of crafty exploits includes ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, DΓ©copatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing. I also like Walking/Geocaching. I have been learning to play the harp for the past 10yrs or so. I am now officially retired. I am a born again Christian.

WOYWW #906 - Still Struggling

I managed to finish the mini Bible Journaling series from Devotion in Action. Honestly it is print image; trace image in Bible; then fill in with watercolours whilst watching a video. That's about all I can manage currently.

The Annual Bible Journaling Conference starts this afternoon but not sure I'll be doing much, if any, this year as I just don't have the mental capacity nor the will to do anything other than watch TV.

I did start a layer a day for October with Jenna Burne but fell off the wagon on day #7. Covered most of it with gesso on day #8 and added a some coloured paints but that's all...

Happy WOYWW Everyone.

Both your pages are magnificent. I'm sorry to hear you're still struggling, and pray you find strength in the Lord to move forward. May the peace of the Lord be with you, on WOYWW and throughout the week.

As Annie said, just do what you feel you can at the moment, challenges etc can wait for another time. Your pages are very pretty indeed.

Hi BJ. Like everyone has said, just do somthing when the mood takes you. There's nothing worse than trying something and falling out with it when you're not in the mood.
Happy WOYWW

Sorry to hear you are struggling at the moment - I do sympathise with you, I have had months of not crafting - no real reason, I just lost my oomph! Hope you enjoy the crafting you are doing, it's looking very lovely.

Happy post-knitting WOYWW catch-up
Go with the flow is the best advice. I know how hard it can be to slow down but sometimes it's the best plan. I do love that flower - you say print and trace an colour like it's nothing...but it really is not nothing!

I have been right where you are, and you are doing the best for yourself even by just watching TV. Watch the shows you love, that make you laugh and bring you joy and you will heal faster! Don't try to do too much. I do like the beginnings of your journal page - it says joy to me! πŸ‚Lindart #16❤️
