About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog. I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary (currently a year behind!), plus any cards as required. As my Carpal Tunnel allows I am getting into yarn/fabric crafts with slow stitching and needle felting added to my list. I continue with my love of Watercolour and Bible Journaling plus Faith/Art Journaling with acrylics and inks. I completed my challenge to make an art journal page a day for my 60th year in 2024. My list of crafty exploits includes ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing. I also like Walking/Geocaching. I have been learning to play the harp for the past 10yrs. I am now officially retired. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Evangelical Church.

WOYWW #838 - More Jonah

Here's the desk with my scripture writing journal where I'm doing a study on The Beatitudes from the Gospel of Matthew 5:1-10.

 Here's the page so far...

Missed Monday as was getting car serviced and MOTed plus I had a surgeon call about my hand and a bit of a who-ha with BT into the mix.

Anyway I have pondered the Greek word Makarios translated as Blessed or Happy and Asher in the OT. Amazing what a word study reveals as Felix was amongst other words I found.

The next installments for Jonah were published and I have done 4 of the 6 so far.

Last but not least I finished off September's scrapping, of yet another geocaching trip locally.

I'll need to order some more photos soon!

Happy WOYWW Everyone.

Geocaching looks a bit of fun and you always seem to be smiling when you do it. Not so much smiling as melting in the heat LOL! but at least it's cooler now. Off to knit in my mates garden soon so best dash!
Happy Knitting Day WOYWW

Love the geocaching LO and it matches your hair for sure! You’ve had another prolific week despite the heat, I was glad to be a few degrees lower but it was still too much for me!

Well done on crafting in the heat. It’s been a scorcher here in north west England. I much prefer the cooler weather by far
