About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog. I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary (currently a year behind!), plus any cards as required. As my Carpal Tunnel allows I am getting into yarn/fabric crafts with slow stitching and needle felting added to my list. I continue with my love of Watercolour and Bible Journaling plus Faith/Art Journaling with acrylics and inks. I completed my challenge to make an art journal page a day for my 60th year in 2024. My list of crafty exploits includes ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing. I also like Walking/Geocaching. I have been learning to play the harp for the past 10yrs. I am now officially retired. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Evangelical Church.

WOYWW #823 - BB Bash

Yay the desk as I was doing something.

Thought it about time I finished scrapping LAST March.

Had the pages laid out for a couple of weeks!!

Here are the pages.

Also on my desk is my cobbled together LENT "journal". Didn't get around to making a special journal so I'm writing out the daily verses in my writing journal and adding any appropriate pictures or dies. Trying to use up stuff.

I'm following the daily plan from a Facebook Bible Journaling group using the mini freebie printable.

I printed the booklet half size and stuck it in my journal

They are journaling the names of Jesus...

This is week one, Ash Wednesday to Saturday. LENT actually "skips" the Sundays to make the 40 days. The Names are Crown, Bread, Light and Song.

I'm also following a Lent Journaling Plan on the You Version App and writing out those scriptures too.

Devotion in Action is doing a weekly LENT series on Birds, here's my first entry.

The bunny was a couple of years ago.

For my Sunday I did some embroidery for my fabric book.

A little rainbow using some of the new fabrics I got the other week.

Just left to mention the BB-Bash which starts at the weekend for a fortnight of creative fun paper and fabric based...

BB Bash March 16th-29th March 2025.

Happy WOYWW Everyone.

I LOVE❤️❤️❤️❤️the rainbow in your fabric journal (I might have to steal that idea!) I think it is lovely that you can journal your faith, I'm sure it helps to understand the Bible better. I'm not a Bible faithed person, but I also journal my faith in the universe in my journals! Your journals are lovely! Have a great week, Lindart #17
