About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog. I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary (usually about 6 months behind), plus any cards as required. I have a new found love of Watercolour and Bible Journaling plus recently Faith/Art Journaling too. I've challenged myself to make an art journal page a day for this my 60th year. Previously I've also dabbled in ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery amongst other things. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing. I also like walking/Geocaching and sometimes do a bit of Bouncing on my Rebounder (mini trampoline). I have been learning to play the harp for the past 10yrs. I am now officially retired. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Vineyard Church.

WOYWW #379 - Back to Work!

Yep - just stuff on my desk and very little crafting!

My Bits & Bobs Tin is still there, I did make one another card from it, but that is for a swap so is lurking behind it????

The closest I have got to crafting was using my corner punch and crop-o-dile to make a little laminated card for my Geocaching trackable. This will be the 3rd I have released, the last two have stalled somewhat, well the first has disappeared for over a year now and the second, who knows?

Then there's my WOW box I made for Preschool last term. I found my son's Spot toy packed away in a cupboard this Summer (well he is 17yrs now!) so now I can use it when I read the book to the children. There are a few more books I have prepared to use and my notebook and pencil case all ready too.

Yes I have been ironing again, hence the jug of water. Managed half Monday, perhaps the other half today.

And lastly my little pouch of mini Ink Joy pens. I love these pens and was really looking for a mini pen for my Geocaching (to attach to my phone case) but these just HAD to pop into my basket.

I guess that is me.

Happy WOYWW Everyone

The fact that your Geocaching track able has gone AWOL made me laugh a lot (sorry). I do hope they turn up, did you put them in a 'safe' place? That's what I do with important stuff and then promptly forget all about them!!

I have a different crop-a-dile punch and love it! Pricey but so handy! We tried geocaching some time ago, but couldn't really get into it. I even bought a GPS for it, which I later sold. Too bad that things just go missing. I wonder how that happened? Do some people not play by the rules? Loving the mini pens! I'm a sucker for anything "mini" too - whether I need them or not, LOL! Enjoy your week! zsuzsa #25

Ironing - ironing what's that? That's the good thing about living in a hot country no one really looks at your clothes. Haha.
My son and grandson used to go geocaching but now my grandson is into this Pokemon something I do not understand, I know I am getting old.

Great photos today but you have just reminded me that I must go and do some ironing so the rest of the visits may have to wait for a while. Have a great woyww, Angela x 17

Those are the same pens that all my coworkers are going ga-ga over lately. You might not have done lots of crafting lately but everything is there and at the ready. PJ #36

Ok, so let's just say I am a huge sucker for things "just popping into my basket!" Hency why I do not go craft shopping very often because I'd have to end up getting therapy! LOLOL Too funny about your Geochache! Not to you of course, but just the idea of it in general! Geocaching is huge around here, but I haven't gone there yet...can't handle one more thing on my list! LOL Best wishes for your week! Felicia #43

Greetings fellow Geocacher! It's ok - I speak your lingo, so know exactly what you mean when you say your last two trackables have stalled... Bummer. I think that's what's stopped me releasing any. I'd be gutted if they went missing in transit... So that means that Gregorian is your Caching ID? I will have to "friend" you, so to speak!

Hope you have a good week!

LOL - I think the trouble is that it's the irony of something called a "Trackable" getting lost... Unless people Geocache, they don't really understand what a trackable is or does, so they only see the funny side of it...

Our family geocaching name is TheBromilows - I've sent you an email through Geocaching.com. Lil Miss B is known as Demonica13!

We have a modest number of caches found - only 354. I'm pleased thought that we found some in Tenerife. Seeing as that's why we went there! Ha.....
