Desk has the back of my concertina journal in progress, more of that later...
So cool to be able to fussy cut without my hand going numb. Still have to deal with the scar pain, which has been quite sore this week and the arthritis, but on the whole much better.
Then I did a couple of watercolours from pictures which caught my eye on facebook.Gotta love a kooky bird!
Saturday I picked myself up and visited our local scrap scheme for the first time. They are only open to non-members once a month and this was the first time I could possibly go..Found loads of dies and got some other bits and bobs all for £7 - actually less but I rounded up to the change I had!Was only thinking the other day that I hadn't got a new alphabet for years - The last one was through our Julia in 2018! Now I have 2.
The number dies were missing though, maybe I didn't rummage in the box well enough. I'll be going back next month.
And the alphabet, flag banner, and circle edge on this scrappage.
(I took this photo before I added the written journaling on the page.)
So back the the concertina journal, which I made in the BB Bash and didn't like the back of so I painted over it all. Here's the before..Here's the after...With left over paint I made flowers which I cut out and stuck on the page too.
I wanted to do an Easter "something" and thought what the heck I'll do it here.
So on my desk is the version with the Easter images stuck on awaiting the next stage.Happy WOYWW Everyone.

Looks like you scored some lovely goodies. And the concertina journal is looking wonderful - that back-side gradient of colour is to die for - the front is pretty fab as well :D . Well done on the fussy cutting, hopefully it will act as therapy for your hand. Happy on-time WOYWW!

You definitely scored at the Scrapstore, some fab new stash and for a good price too! I love your kooky bird and the flowers, it’s just fun to play and not do anything too serious!
Hugs and Happy Easter!

I have only been to a scrapstore twice, both times away from home. I would love to have one locally. You got some great pieces there. Loving the new background of your concertina. Have a lovely Easter, hugs Angela #8
I've never heard of a Scrapstore, sounds like a great idea but we do sell and give away craft stuff at our Craft club which is useful especially as there are lots of people who are new to crafting and they are pleased to get stash to get them started. Wishing you a very happy woyww with hugs Angela x5x
Lots of fab new stash - that's a brilliant Scrap store. The Kooky bird is fun. I think Ben would enjoy drawing some of those! x x Jo 🌈
Happy Belated WOYWW. Glad to hear you can do more with your hand now. Some fabulous bargain buys there, and great that you use them on projects straightaway. That is one thing to add to my shopping list - some letter and number printing blocks. Happy Easter. Ali x #11
