About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog.I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary, plus any cards as required. As my Carpal Tunnel allows I am getting into yarn/fabric crafts with slow stitching and needle felting added to my list. I continue with my love of Watercolour and Bible Journaling plus Faith/Art Journaling with acrylics and inks. I completed my challenge to make an art journal page a day for my 60th year in 2024. My list of crafty exploits includes ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing. I also like Walking/Geocaching. I have been learning to play the harp for the past 10yrs. I am now officially retired. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Evangelical Church.

Geocaching 365 Grid - February 2026

Yay managed to fill in February with another 15 finds plus a few DNFs too.

We did a few around the racecourse at the beginning of the month.

The rain was never too far away.

A Church Micro - St Albans Cheam which I'd done the numbers for many years previously!

The Village Hall Betchworth where the info number had been taped over!

Chris did one on his own when I wasn't too well - the underground bunker.

Chris also did a few on his bike rides.

Great Bookham and St Marks in Reigate which I'd tried to get 7 years ago but wasn't tall enough!!

I did the magical mystery tour round Chipstead when Chris wasn't well. The main throughfare was closed so I went round the houses.

Robin's Cache was a DNF despite asking another cacher for help and returning for a thorough rummage. We ended up at Anton  Crescent Wetlands. Not a great day.

Brockham Church Spire, Big Hill in Betchworth, a fine pair in West Horsley and finally a muddy walk in Nonsuch Park via Cheam Park (less dogs!)

It was quite a trial this month with us both being under the weather with one thing or another but we did it.
