About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog.I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary, plus any cards as required. As my Carpal Tunnel allows I am getting into yarn/fabric crafts with slow stitching and needle felting added to my list. I continue with my love of Watercolour and Bible Journaling plus Faith/Art Journaling with acrylics and inks. I completed my challenge to make an art journal page a day for my 60th year in 2024. My list of crafty exploits includes ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing. I also like Walking/Geocaching. I have been learning to play the harp for the past 10yrs. I am now officially retired. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Evangelical Church.

WOYWW #861 - Post-Op

Yep, all done.

Got the jigsaw out that my son got me 3 years ago but not up to much.

Did a few sessions from the Artistic Advent pre-op

Plus some pages in my mini journal.

Not up to writing much this week.

Been watching Absentia on Netflix mainly.

The novelty of doing things one handed and keeping the other hand elevated and dry for 2 weeks will wear off soon.

Received my prize from the Zen workshops which was a nice surprise.

Happy WOYWW Everyone.

I’m glad it’s done and dusted, hopefully you’re not in too much discomfort and the dressings will be off for Christmas. Rest up and get better xx

Pleased it's done before Christmas but you need to rest now then they might be able to remove the dressing before Christmas but either way let someone else do all the work! Sending woyww hugs Angela x9x

What a lovely prize BJ. Glad that the op went well - enjoy the jigsaw and let other people pamper you while you recover. Sorry for the missing link at the start of the day. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah

A lovely prize BJ. Hoping that your hand is not too painful That last double page is absolutely my favourite, was that with the Advent course you are doing? Happy WOYWW. Angela #10

I’m glad your op is over, are you right handed? I hope it isn’t too painful and will soon be healed. Your journal pages are beautiful, and well done on your prize.
Happy WOYWW

Glad the op is over! But I'm amazed at what you can accomplish with one hand! Your puzzle reminds me that I got a Christmas one for my hubby about 2-3 years ago, never opened! So thanks for the memory, I will have to get it out! Great prize! And I agree with everyone else, let people pamper you as long as you can! Happy WOWW! ❤️Have a wonderful week! Lindart #14❄️
