About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog.I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary, plus any cards as required. As my Carpal Tunnel allows I am getting into yarn/fabric crafts with slow stitching and needle felting added to my list. I continue with my love of Watercolour and Bible Journaling plus Faith/Art Journaling with acrylics and inks. I completed my challenge to make an art journal page a day for my 60th year in 2024. My list of crafty exploits includes ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing. I also like Walking/Geocaching. I have been learning to play the harp for the past 10yrs. I am now officially retired. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Evangelical Church.

WOYWW #854 - Cold

I'm writing this Tuesday evening 14th October.

Oh my life.... I wasn't really looking forward to the Bible Journaling Conference this week (Wed 15th - Fri 17th) due to my planned operation on Thursday 16th and added to that our son's house move at the weekend (Fri 17th - Sun 19th).

Now add to the list I have a horrid head cold so will probably have to postpone the operation after all.

I rang the hospital Monday and they said to ring back Wednesday unless it's cleared up sufficiently.

Just need a miracle now.

Earlier in the week I finished off scrapping the photos I had printed for last June, thinking I could choose the next lot to print whilst I was recovering as just need to be able to use the mouse.

More fool me eh!

I do have a PDF of the mushrooms but so can't remember how to add it to a post and really not feeling able to look it up at the moment.

Happy WOYWW Everyone.

oh, BJ what awful timing to have a bad cold - hope it is going and you can still go ahead with the op. I do like the photos you've scrapped! Happy WOYWW Helen xx #2

Well that’s rubbish timing isn’t it? There’s so many colds. Flu and Covid going around, I hope you get rid of it so the op can go ahead. Fingers crossed for you. Hope your son’s move went smoothly!

I prescribe 2 Harry Potter films taken with several cups of tea and a blanket if necessary. Seriously, sorry to hear you are still poorly and that your op may be cancelled, praying for you. Hugs Angela #7

So typical - I got Covid right after the very long and expensive IVIG last time and that ate it all up before I could get much benefit. SO annoying. But the layouts are lovely and hopefully that miracle will come so you can get the op and start down the recovery road!
Happy quick before knitting WOYWW!

Isn't it the case of everything coming at the same time. Getting appointments for an op. is difficult enough. Fingers crossed for you. Have a good woyww. Hugs Angela x10x

So sorry you’re feeling rough, BJ, and I hope your op goes ahead soon if not today. Your layouts are lovely. I’d use a sniper tool or similar to capture the mushroom pdf.
Happy WOYWW!
