About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog.I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary, plus any cards as required. As my Carpal Tunnel allows I am getting into yarn/fabric crafts with slow stitching and needle felting added to my list. I continue with my love of Watercolour and Bible Journaling plus Faith/Art Journaling with acrylics and inks. I completed my challenge to make an art journal page a day for my 60th year in 2024. My list of crafty exploits includes ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing. I also like Walking/Geocaching. I have been learning to play the harp for the past 10yrs. I am now officially retired. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Evangelical Church.

WOYWW #852 - Zen Sign-Up

Probably more of the "Oh My!" from last week really.

Catching up with some paperwork on my desk as my Credit Card is changing banks this weekend and Electricity prices are changing today but my smart meter failed to send a reading so I got an estimated bill!

There's the paper envelope from this months RHS Magazine and my Abraham study - all pending.

I did manage the first page in my new journal but that is it. My minor cold set off my IBS last Thursday so eating and drinking anything has been difficult ever since.

I've signed up for the next ZEN workshops which are in the last week of October. I'll still be in the "don't get your hand wet" post-op fortnight then but will watch and take notes and hopefully do something some time afterwards.

Happy WOYWW Everyone.

Now that’s the sort of boring paperwork that needs getting off your desk asap! I know it’s essential but….Lovely journal page, the colours and patterns are great. Not long to your op, hope you sail through it.

Hope the recovery is going well, but sorry about the IBS flare up - that can't be fun. Good you are at least trying to take it easy a bit. Banks and electricity companies! BAH! Moved my back to the local one that I now find is closing. The town is without a bank of any kind now, I think. Grrr. I too signed up for an October workshop, but not tha same one. I can't seem to help myself LOL!Hang in there and stay safe, all.

Boo to all that paperwork, do you find it is easier to do when surrounded by your lovely craft stuff? Just wondering.
Love that envelope - now what are you going to do with it? Any plans?

Those smart meters never seem to work and we are on our second lot! I have joined in Zen too. That envelope looks lovely, I would scan it before using it. Hugs Angela #13

I love the journal page - it's so pretty. I hope the op goes well (I'm assuming it's the carpel tunnel problem?) and doesn't interfere too much with your workshop.
Hope you have a good week,
