About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog.I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary, plus any cards as required. As my Carpal Tunnel allows I am getting into yarn/fabric crafts with slow stitching and needle felting added to my list. I continue with my love of Watercolour and Bible Journaling plus Faith/Art Journaling with acrylics and inks. I completed my challenge to make an art journal page a day for my 60th year in 2024. My list of crafty exploits includes ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing. I also like Walking/Geocaching. I have been learning to play the harp for the past 10yrs. I am now officially retired. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Evangelical Church.

WOYWW #850 - One Month and Counting...

As is usually the way my surgery date came through and it is slap bang in the middle of the 3 day Bible Conference next month!

Thursday 16th October 2025 to be exact.

Oh well.

Not done much this week except finish off my Beatitudes study

Here's last week's and .....

this week's (done Monday!).

I've started a study on Abraham so wanted to free up my writing journal for that.

I had my son staying last weekend and again this coming weekend so probably not much time to craft again.

I did manage to fit in the September challenge page for JOTW - the one I didn't do last week.

I used my new handmade (fish) stamp with Ultramarine Ink (navy) on a piece of acetate (plastic), stapled to page and covered with collage fish, which have (circle) air bubbles.

Wondering if I'll get anything done this week as still have all the fussy cutting to do.... Been a bit knocked sideways with impending surgery and the knowledge that I will be out of action for weeks/months afterwards.

Happy WOYWW Everyone.
