About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog. I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary (usually about 6 months behind), plus any cards as required. I have a new found love of Watercolour and Bible Journaling plus recently Faith/Art Journaling too. I've challenged myself to make an art journal page a day for this my 60th year. Previously I've also dabbled in ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery amongst other things. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing. I also like walking/Geocaching and sometimes do a bit of Bouncing on my Rebounder (mini trampoline). I have been learning to play the harp for the past 10yrs. I am now officially retired. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Vineyard Church.

WOYWW #757 - Advent is here...

December dawned then Advent hit and lots of crafty goodness abounds so the scrapping Gauntlet of last week unfortunately dropped - Oops.

My crafty stuff has taken root under my desk now, oh my...

Over at Devotion in Action I finished off the last weekly series with the bonus on "being prepared".

I have started the "daily" Advent "Gnome for the Holy Days" series. So lots of "daily" painting....

I'm a bit addicted to "reels" on Facebook but I did get this idea for hand painted Christmas trees from there.

I decorated the main tree and hurt my back on Monday so the rest of the decorations are still in their boxes!

Fortunately I can sit at my craft desk relatively pain free (must be my office chair which suits me) so I have just finished my 5th tag for the "12 Tags of Christmas" by Etched by Faith over on their Facebook Group. (below).

I did my December page by Bible Journaling Ministries which finished off my Journal which I started back in 2014 no less. (red page above)

And the last couple of pages in my envelope journal (blue page above and right).

Happy WOYWW Everyone.

Well the scrapbooking may have taken a back seat but you have been busy! Love your painted gnomes and the tags are gorgeous as well. Hope your back eases up, I find I have no desire to put up decorations this year, I think it is because my daughter isn't here, she is mad for Christmas. The house is also due a big de-clutter but I just can't face it. So I hide in my craft room instead!! Have a good week, love n hugs, Cindyxx #12

Oo what a lovely array of tags. I really want to make a few myself this year.. I am feeling sorry for myself ,- my cough was getting better but now I have a head cold. Think I need a holiday in a warm climate 😀😀

I love those gnomes! So cute! Hour journal page is lovely too. Many years ago I was involved in 3 Christmas Tag swaps. One was Twelve Days and 2 were Alphabet Christmas. So much fun, and I still put them out every Christmas! Your tree is gorgeous! So sorry about your back, not at all fun. Lindart #19

Yijes. Bad backs are nothing to laugh about. But your gnomes do make me smile for sure. I am also addicted to shorts, YT ones mostly. But sometimes I find I want more info than they can give, and I can't decide which is worse, not enough info in a short or way too much waffle in a long video. A happy balance is best, like most things in life LOL!
Happy (late) WOYWW!
