About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog. I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary (usually about 6 months behind), plus any cards as required. I have a new found love of watercolour and Bible Journaling plus recently Junk Journaling too. Previously I've also dabbled in ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Art Journaling, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery amongst other things. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing, but am plagued by a bad back. I like walking which I couple with Geocaching and sometimes Bouncing on my Rebounder (mini trampoline). I guess I am officially retired now. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Vineyard Church.

WOYWW #567 - Scrapping...

Firstly apologies for late replies last week, but our Broadband decided to die on Wednesday afternoon! Frantic calls to BT with Easter looming and the lockdown in full force, wondering if they would be able to come and fix it. Fortunately it was fixed 24 hours later, phew.

Easter came and went, although I did manage to get my Easter tree up I didn't make any cards this year!

So I finished off last weeks pages and did a couple more and 2 further ones are on my desk pending inspiration.

Also on my desk is a book a friend sent me about Bible Journaling. I attended a Zoom meeting on this with church last Thursday although my attempts are rather more basic, text and doodling based.

Happy WOYWW Everyone

Cool scrapbook layouts BJ. Your Easter tree is great too. The coloured eggs make it very cheerful. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #7

Love your Easter tree - reminds me I did not do my usual Easter decoration - but then I don't think I realised it was Easter until it came upon us. All days meld into one with this lockdown.
Lovely LO's you have on show and good luck with the Bible Journalling - I always love seeing what others have done - we used to have someone in the Phillipines, if I remember rightly, who did just that and it was beautiful.
Stay safe and well

Lovely LO and always interesting to see what other woyww have been up to. I purchased a Bible journalling book and must pull it out and start up again. I get distracted by too many projects but, this would be very thought provoking. Stay safe and keep creating.

Hi BJ, some great layouts there. They look wonderful. Good job your internet got fixed quickly, I recall ours going down for a couple of days a while back, drove us both mad, as we use the internet a lot. Stay safe, Hugs, Shaz #8 X

Some great pages. Easter game and went, didn't do many cards either. Sent out some for the friends mother had at the Manor, they are all in total lock down and I thought mail would help. Now time to put away the decor. I cut way back as no one can visit anyway. I've a friend who does beautiful bible journaling and I always thought it'd be fun, but I can't even do it on plain paper so scrap that idea !! Keeps the spirit and Stay Safe. #23

Hi BJ. Some great pages - well done. My younger daughter has a journaling Bible - she uses it a lot - and regularly takes coloured pencils with her Bible wherever she is!
Take care. Stay safe. God bless.

Love your scrapbook pages. Glad you got the broadband sorted - I think my kids would explode if anything happened to ours - they can't cope if it drops out for 5 mins!!!

Great layouts, I didn't make any cards this year either. Your Bible journaling book looks interesting, I bought a Bible for journaling, but didn't get far, I get distracted too much. Happy WOYWW Angela #24

Our broadband is very sketchy, I put it down to too many people using it at once! SO glad yours was sorted within not too long, although 24 hours is long enough these days! Well done on the scrapbook pages, progress is good! I didn’t even bother with an Easter tree this year. Somehow without the kids coming home it just came and went!

Quite a hive of activity there, BJ. We spent Easter in Germany one year and they had an Easter tree - I'd never seen one before! Glad you managed to have a Church Zoom meeting. The Bible journaling is great.

Keep safe and well and God bless,
Happy belated WOYWW,
