About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog. I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary (usually about 6 months behind), plus any cards as required. I have a new found love of Watercolour and Bible Journaling plus recently Faith/Art Journaling too. I've challenged myself to make an art journal page a day for this my 60th year. Previously I've also dabbled in ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery amongst other things. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing. I also like walking/Geocaching and sometimes do a bit of Bouncing on my Rebounder (mini trampoline). I have been learning to play the harp for the past 10yrs. I am now officially retired. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Vineyard Church.

New Washing Machine

Always read the instructions before the washing fairy jumps into action!

The old one finally gave up the ghost back in July 2015.

So after one trip to Currys in Croydon then another to the dump in Epsom my new machine was all ready to use.

I guess this is the only department which is my sole responsibility.

I like your little fairy and I also like your new washing machine. Like you, I'm going to let my washing machine give up the ghost before I buy a new one.

I've read pros and cons about front loaders, such as they hurt your back when removing the wet clothes. But I know after looking at top loaders, I can't reach the bottom of the new ones, not even standing on a step stool. I suspect that was partly your reason for the front loader, too. Your new blog is now on my sidebar and I can keep up with it.

Hi Bj, love the scrap page. It's always traumatic buying new stuff so glad you have cracked it. Now following your new blog x

Back about a hundred years or so ago, I would have asked your permission to place your blog on my sidebar. I've NEVER added anyone's blog without their permission.

Thought your auto spell check was funny. Loved the making machine, as well as the hi bum!

Yes, 50 was the last J52 entry I created, too. I was glad I made a mosaic of the first 50 weeks after there was no prompt for 51. Thanks for the offer, but I'm simply thrilled to be finished with this two year project after 102 weeks.
