WOYWW #880 - Sewing & Scrapping

A friend gave me the mini sewing machine on my desk. I had shown her how to use it the last time I saw her but she hadn't had it out of the box since then so thought I best have it.

Funny I saw one on a desk last week and was thinking of getting another one as the manual one I have is rubbish.

I have done a lot of scrapping attempting to get me up to date with the photos I have printed before a couple of online courses start soon... (see end of post)

I finished up my 21st album with 3 pages for the rest of November 2025.

The Wired page uses a paper I have had in my stash for over 20 years!

The Sewing page, I used my new alphabet yet again plus my new nestie flower dies.

The Hand and "Lights" are the respective last and first pages of my 21st and 22nd albums.

I did a double LO of my hand recovery throughout December 2025.

Hoping the colourful flowers take away the trauma of the month! The colours reflecting my hand cream gift and my thread win from the last Zen.

When I picked up the pages I really like the shadow they made from behind so took a photo like that.

Next pages are the shooting stars plus Christmas and Boxing Days.
I even made a insert for my 2016 album for an extra photo which had been given to me a while back. Taken by the husband of the friend I was birthing partner to, same one who gave me the mini sewing machine.

Just a few more pages till I'm caught up and need to do another print order.

The courses I am signed up for are:-

1) Faith Fest - 20-21 April but I have paid up so can do at my leisure - phew!

2) Making Zen - 4-8th May signed up for the freebie so will be a bit more of a challenge.

Happy WOYWW Everyone.

  3. Geat journal pages as usual. You've just reminded me that I have one of those little sewing machines, I bought it to sew on paper, must get it out again. The on-line courses sound interesting, let us know how you get on. Happy woyww, Angela x8x

  5. That’s the same sewing machine I bought a few weeks ago and following my normal pattern I haven’t even opened the box ! I have been busy doing other things though. I haven’t even watched the first one of the Faith Fest yet, but like you, I paid this year. Great scrapbook layouts, hugs Angela #9

  6. Gosh you have been busy bj! a little m/c like that was on offer recently in aldi or lidl but I didn't manage to snag me one. Let me know how you get on with it. Are you going to use it for scrapping?
I totally understand paying for those courses - the free content is often very good but it's a nightmare to get through it all in the time!!
Have a good week, love n hugs Cindyxx #13

  7. Your LOs ate lovely but my goodness your hand photos show what a nasty little operation it is. I'm glad it's healed well. I took pics of my face following surgery for a basal cell carcinoma. It's still not very pretty but better than the alternative and certainly healed fine.x x Jo 🌈
