About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog.I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary, plus any cards as required. As my Carpal Tunnel allows I am getting into yarn/fabric crafts with slow stitching and needle felting added to my list. I continue with my love of Watercolour and Bible Journaling plus Faith/Art Journaling with acrylics and inks. I completed my challenge to make an art journal page a day for my 60th year in 2024. My list of crafty exploits includes ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing. I also like Walking/Geocaching. I have been learning to play the harp for the past 10yrs. I am now officially retired. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Evangelical Church.

WOYWW #877 - Still Struggling

Seem to be shattered especially after any exercise these days. Keep thinking I'm coming down with something but nothing much materialises except the exhaustion!

I managed a couple of scrapbook pages last Thursday and a couple yesterday but that is it.

I finished off September with son's "service" visit for car service MOT dentist plus badminton.

Come to think of it, the last time I felt full of energy was the beginning of October last year at badminton!

I have started on October scrapping. It was a busy month with son moving home for a fortnight before moving into his new flat.

Happy WOYWW Everyone.

Hopefully you will feel more energised soon, BJ! the scrapping looks good though. Don't think I've noticed your signed Timmy apron on your chair before. Happy WOYWW Helen #1

Hope the warmer days ahead will help your energy levels, in the meantime doing LOs is a good task, not too big or small with pleasure gained from the photos 🥰

Sorry you are feeling wiped out, something I am familiar with. I can’t remember the details, sorry, but I was reading the other day that sometimes it can be caused by a vitamin deficiency. So worth a bit of research. Hugs Angela #13

Sorry to hear you're not feeling so good, maybe you need a holiday. Angela might be right, Cod liver oil and evening primrose is good. We need to eat more oily fish too. Take care and get plenty of rest. Happy woyww, Angela x9x

Sorry to hear you’re feeling exhausted too. I try and keep my blood sugar level with carrots, apples, nuts at the mo.
Your layouts are impressive.

I do hope you begin to feel better soon. Your gentle crafting is good for you. I'm sure it helps all sorts of ailments. Just pottering with little activities gives you a simple sense of well being and satisfaction. It's not the answer but every little helps. x x Jo 🌈

It's so hard when they leave the nest and become independent. I remember going through that, it takes a few years! Last year at this time I was feeling a lot like you are feeling, exhausted all the time. I watched a lot of TV and not much else. I was recovering from the flu I had gotten in the winter, but it just seemed to lag on for so long. Happy to say that this year all the energy is back, I'm doing things, playing pickleball, and feeling normal again. I wish the same for you! Good job catching up on all the scrapbooking pages! Have a Great week🌸Lindart

Happy (late, but not too late!) WOYWW! I feel your pain on the low energy thing. It sucks. Hopefully there will be a solution - maybe a bit of sunshine will help! How's your Vit D doing? Love the scrapbooking and here's hoping you feel stronger soon!
