About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog.I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary, plus any cards as required. As my Carpal Tunnel allows I am getting into yarn/fabric crafts with slow stitching and needle felting added to my list. I continue with my love of Watercolour and Bible Journaling plus Faith/Art Journaling with acrylics and inks. I completed my challenge to make an art journal page a day for my 60th year in 2024. My list of crafty exploits includes ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, DΓ©copatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing. I also like Walking/Geocaching. I have been learning to play the harp for the past 10yrs. I am now officially retired. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Evangelical Church.

WOYWW #869-Scrapping

Quick my desk and bedroom whilst scrapping...

Felt "safe" enough with my hand to get my Cuttlebug out this week so scrapping resumed.

There are still some things I go to do and "ouch" it hurts. Driving is getting easier though.

My desk has the last 2 pages for July 2025, 2 Geocaching days out one an urban wander and the other out in the countryside - more next week.

I did the beginning of July earlier in the week.

My hubby's 69th Birthday trip to Wisley.

Various other things in July last year.

The weather seems to have taken front stage with the wind and rain and sun and full Buck moon.

I dyed my hair on Saturday. Hand didn't go numb but prolonged holding of the mirror has made my hand somewhat sore this week.

It was the first time I have done it myself since April last year, as the Carpal Tunnel had made it near impossible before.

My son did it the last couple of times for me, in June and September.

The other thing I have got back to this past week is badminton. I celebrated by changing my racket grip to pink! Son got me the new grips for Christmas, he plays too.

Dancing next week and I've not done that for nearly a year!

Happy WOYWW Everyone.

Curious as to what product you use to do your hair. It always looks so lovely. Glad the hand is healing. Envious of your Cuttlebug. I have a machine but the stupid plates are very nearly as expensive as a machine itself. I want just the slightly bigger size than the teeny Sizzix, without needing to resort to the Gemini powered one. Fab layouts too, always love to see scrapbooking anytimne! Happy quick dash, pre-knitting WOYWW!
