About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog.I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary, plus any cards as required. As my Carpal Tunnel allows I am getting into yarn/fabric crafts with slow stitching and needle felting added to my list. I continue with my love of Watercolour and Bible Journaling plus Faith/Art Journaling with acrylics and inks. I completed my challenge to make an art journal page a day for my 60th year in 2024. My list of crafty exploits includes ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing. I also like Walking/Geocaching. I have been learning to play the harp for the past 10yrs. I am now officially retired. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Evangelical Church.

WOYWW #856 - Still Coughing

Week 3 of coughing and trying to do Making ZEN stitching, numb fingers don't help either.

I'm only managing 1 of the 6 sessions each day unfortunately as really not well at all.

Desk shot is of all the fabric stuff out.

My ribbons decided to fall off the ring so I need to sort that out too.

Really not up to much and spent most of Tuesday in bed and in pjs all day too.

Here are Monday and Tuesdays pieces.

I have been following the post conference watercolour series from Devotion in Action and managed the 1st 5 so far.

My Bible pages are becoming quite busy.

I also made the 3 cards I needed to last week.

My friend's 29th Anniversary inspired by our our Lindart last week.

Also a Wedding and New Home cards. The latter for my son.

Happy WOYWW Everyone.

Sorry you're still struggling with the after effects of the cold, it sounds like it was a really nasty one. Well done on getting some crafting done, the Bible pages and the cards look lovely, . Happy WOYWW Helen #2

Odd, isn't it, that the idea of a day in your PJs is totally appealing, but only when you are WELL and choose to do it LOL! Seems to me you have gotten quite a bit done, but considering your usual output, I can see you are not quite as prolific. Hoping you get back to full strength soon!
Heading off for a hospital appt. but Happy WOYWW

I think your skill with those fabric pieces is fantastic, such detail. I find collage really hard to do so admire those who are adept and you are! The poppies in particular are really lovely. Hope you pick up soon, I’ve head that this bout of colds/flu/Covid are really knocking people.
Hugs LLJ 3 xx

I've wasted a fortnight of my life being poorly because of COVID and I'm picking up this week and can finally say that apart from a snotty nose, I'm better, just got to get the old stamina up again, I resent being poorly so I feel for you, v sorry it's going on and on. Loving the fabrics and your ideas, you're going great guns with all the media at the moment!
