About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog. I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary (usually about 6 months behind), plus any cards as required. I have a new found love of Watercolour and Bible Journaling plus recently Faith/Art Journaling too. I've challenged myself to make an art journal page a day for this my 60th year. Previously I've also dabbled in ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery amongst other things. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing. I also like walking/Geocaching and sometimes do a bit of Bouncing on my Rebounder (mini trampoline). I have been learning to play the harp for the past 10yrs. I am now officially retired. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Vineyard Church.

WOYWW #811 - Advent Week 3

Yes I was standing on a stool but thought you all deserved a different perspective on an otherwise much the same desk each week.

1) my daily journal

I used the last of the freebies on days 11 & 12, but plenty of bits and bobs left over to add to successive pages, plus some old Christmas papers too and I even cracked out the acrylic paint and stencils!

2) the advent words in my tab journal;

Prepare, Righteousness, Salvation,

Proclaim, Rejoice and Gentleness.

3) She Sketches Scripture 30 day challenge Days 8-13

Rest, Kind Words, Overflow,

A Mind Of Peace, Burdens, He Grows Roes,

Days 14-15

Light of my Life and Deep Waters.

Bible getting pretty full on some pages, do you remember the gnomes for last year's advent?

4) Devotion in Action

God's gift of Eternal Life

The Holy Spirit

Reconciliation to Him

Us being His Children

(All links in Advent Week 1 post)

You may have noticed my little treat to myself hanging from my shelf. A craft box organiser for my magazine letters, cool or what!

Hubby thinks I'm intending to blackmail someone with a magazine ransom note!

Also I got a thank you for using and sharing my pages from all the 12 freebie sheets. A 2025 Calendar which I printed 9 to A4 and made a little tab bound desk diary.

Hope you are all sorted for Christmas. I'm quite anxious and will be glad when it's over really. Gosh and that from a Christian too! Just don't like all the hype and excessiveness and want to worship my God and Saviour every day not just Christmas.

And breathe again....

Happy WOYWW Everyone.

Once again BJ you put us all to shame with the amount and quality of crafting you share each week. Merry Christmas and Happy WOYWW. Sarah

LOL! Blackmail ahead! Love the idea, cause I am always seeing wonderful text that I surely could use but it's so easy to lose track of. Your pages are really stellar this week - again, your ability to keep producing week on week is inspiring. That freebie looks fun - well done for doing them ALL!
On time!

Your letter sorter is a great idea BJ. Love all your pages this week. It sounds as if you are finding the season stressful, remember to breathe slowly and ask for more peace. Praying for you. Hugs Angela #16

It's very kind of you to give us a different view of your desk but please be careful we don't want you falling just before Christmas. Loving the journal pages too, you're amazing how much you manage to complete in a week. Wishing you a very happy woyww Christmas. Hugs Angela x9x
