Definitely spoke too soon last week.
First up, I mentioned something aesthetically wrong with my monitor and in trying to fix it my husband broke the screen. Now I've got a smaller screen again and blogger is well weird, as there is no text box to type in??
Thursday I hurt my back again so no badminton, but that did afford a couple of nights Bible Journaling.I did my March page from the Bible Journaling Ministries free printable.
Then I did my #scripture52 card on the same day as the Facebook live too.
Then I did my Lent Week 5 Bible Journaling Page - Pretzels and Prayer.
Please guys be under no illusion that I "draw" these pictures myself. I trace most of them into my Bible from free printables. The Lent series is from Devotion in Action
The only debate here is, what is a Pretzel? I thought it was bread when I saw the picture, then remembered the little crisp like snacks from my childhood. Apparently it is a lenten food and is to remind us of crossing our arms in prayer. Certainly a new one on me.
Anyway I have rounded the week off nicely with yet another nasty head cold. I tested -ve for Covid yesterday but it certainly feels like what I had 6 months ago and that tested +ve. Both within days of going to the dentist too - oh my!
Have to say I feel pretty horrid but did manage my reading lesson yesterday, the positives of doing it on-line. My nose was completely blocked at the end of the half hour, I couldn't have done any more.
Happy WOYWW Everyone.
Oh BJ I do hope you are feeling better soon. Well done for getting so much done despite feeling ill. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #3
ReplyDeleteOh computer issues are so frustrating. Hope you are on the mend to feeling better. I love all the photos you have shared. Good to keep busy in different ways so just enjoy a good week. Happy WOYWW
ReplyDeleteI do hope you are feeling better soon - it sounds like you've had quite a time of it. The drawings are great and I love the Pretzel - never liked them much until I tried some chocolate dipped ones in America - they were unexpectedly good and very moreish!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a good week,
Diana xx #10
I hope you feel better soon ! Well done for keeping going. I'm not fond of pretzels either, not sure I'd like the in chocolate either! :) . Happy woyww Helen #1
ReplyDeleteThere’s still Covid whizzing round here too so you were right to test if you felt iffy, Glad you’re -ve though. What a pain about your screen, I hope you get the blogger issues sorted though, it’s a pain when it doesn’t work how you want it.

I hope you don't have Covid, such a pain!
ReplyDeleteGreat job on all your journaling. I can see how pretzels can mean crossing your arms in prayer, apparently pretzels were invented by monks in 610 AD in Italy or France, the crossed arms represented the arms of a child in prayer and the 3 openings represented the Trinity. Feel better! Have a wonderful week! Lindart #16
Oh I’m sorry you’re full of cold again, it feels unfair. Certainly hope it isn’t Covid, it’ll take so long to go. Interesting about the pretzels isn’t it, I had no idea! I don’t think how your bible pictures are achieved is the point, they just all look lovely, you do a great job!
ReplyDeletePoor you, what a week. Hope you're feeling better soon but at least you've got some crafty jobs done. Have a lovely creative woyww, Angela x11x
ReplyDeleteOh dear, head cold and bad back -let’s hope it’s not Covid. I have been keeping up with my Psalms study. But not the art work. I think the bullet book I am using is annoying me - all those dots!! I thought a) it wouldn’t matter and b) it would help me with the lines of text, but I am having a job writing without going up as I write. I am thinking of starting again with a different book. I am thinking of either using a plain sketchbook or doing it on Index cards like the ones you have been doing. I thought maybe I could print out the words so I have more of an idea how much room the words are going to take up. I have a few ideas, I just feel I am not giving God my best the way I am doing it. Sending hugs Angela #15
