  1. You poor thing, BJ - it all looks as if it was pretty unpleasant for you. However, it is remarkable how the body heals itslf with time. The progression of photos is a remarkable testament to that! Obviously the inner healing is going to take longer than what you can see on the outside and one has to be patient, and balance rest with enough exercise to keep things moving. I took photos of the progress of healing of my breast cancer surgery but didn't quite feel up to exposing that part of my body to all and sundry on the internet lol!! I have 2 scars - one on the inner side of the breast where the lump was, and the other on the outside, under my arm, where they removed the lymph node. All healed up nicely but still a lot more obvious than your hand scar, unfortunately. I hope in time you will regain full movement of your hand and feel that the operation has been worthwhile. You must have been suffering for quite a while with the carpal tunnel syndrome. Is it your dominant hand? If so, that's doubly hard to deal with.

Take care of yourself! Thinking of you!

    Hugs,
    Shoshi x
