Third week in a row, I'm on a roll...
Scrapbooking has moved along a few pages and I even made a birthday card!
I did a bit of crochet yesterday, good job I have a good supply of yarn handy. A local group have crochet bombed the highstreet and sent me the pattern for the rainbow, although I had to add the 7th row!
I've also finished a jigsaw and ordered a Journalling Bible and watercolours plus a kit to get me started....and gold painted a few decorations.
You certainly have been busy. Love all the projects you have been working on. That rainbow is so bright and cheerful. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #6
ReplyDeleteMorning BJ. My word - you have had a busy week. Great pages, lovely card, yarn stash being busted - and I have to say that I am SO glad you added the 7th row! I confess to being somewhat weary of seeing rainbows with only 5 or 6 colours - some even in the wrong order. Sorry, is that me being a grumpy old woman?! A jigsaw, some gold painted decorations - and even preparing to go with the journaling Bible!!! Well done - now for a little sit down with a cuppa...
ReplyDeleteTake care. Stay safe. God bless.

That's pretty good in one week! Despite evidence to the contrary (all the paper and scrapbooks in my craft room) I am not really a scrapper. But I have spent this last week trying to get photos off my phone and either into albums on my pc so I know where they are or sending them off to be printed. Have nearly managed 2109 (2017/18 still not touched). It's funny, when I wrote my post I thought I hadn't achieved much this week but every time I visit someone else's desk I am reminded of what I have been up to. It's actually been quite a productive week!! Stay Safe, Stay well, Happy WOYWW Cindy #18
ReplyDeleteSeen a number of these crochet or knitted rainbows think it must be a British thing. But we did have the real rainbow here last week.
ReplyDeleteYou have been very busy keep it up. Ani #7
Loving your crocheted rainbow. I see a few in windows on the weekly trip to the shop.. drawn ones that is! Take care and stay safe. Helen #2
ReplyDeleteThere's certainly a lot of variety going on in your life! I love the layouts, and I really like the alphabet background paper too. The rainbow is great - I haven's seen any as I haven't been out but I know a few people who have put them up in their windows - a lovely idea.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a good week, stay safe and well,

Happy WOYWW. So much creativity and busyness. I bought one of the crochet rainbows from an Etsy seller, and it is hung in our front porch. Ali x #1
ReplyDeleteYou definitely put me to shame! You have been so busy. It seems I have good intentions but get waylaid so easily! Happy WOYWW!

I love your scrapbooking layouts - the photos really take centre stage! The crochet is so bright and beautiful. Happy WOYWW. Stay safe and take care. With love and God Bless, Caro x (#25)
ReplyDeleteOh you’re winning at Lockdown! you’ve got so much done, love the little ornaments, and the LO about queen for a day. No journaling so I can’t fathom why...!! I absolutely have lots of yarn hanging about from finished projects, but none of them come near to a rainbow or indeed a part of a rainbow. given my love of bright colours, I think this is an epic fail! I hope your ordered goodies don’t take too long to arrive - although I think you can probably fill the time! Keep well.
ReplyDeleteWow somebody's been busy, lovely journal pages. Wishing you a happy and creative woyww, Angela x17x
ReplyDeleteLots of lovely creativity I do love that crochet rainbow what a happy creation, I so need to learn to crochet properly. Happy WoywW Tracey #3

Hi BJ you have been busy this week. I took a moment to look into Geocaching, I was fairly sure I knew what it was, but I didn’t realise the cache is supposed to stay there. I think it looks a great way to spend the time, The page I looked at had very exotic locations, do travel far with your hobby? I bought a journaling Bible with good intentions, I wish I had thought of a kit to get started. A couple years ago we were on holiday when a place we visited had knitting and crochet everywhere. Bollards had cosy jackets, trees had knitted fruit it was quite amazing. That’s the best rainbow I have seen! x Angela #38
ReplyDeleteWhat an assortment of 'doings'!! I am about to attempt a crochet rainbow, I have teddy bears and 'thumbs up postie' pictures in the window at the moment.
ReplyDeleteLove the layouts on your scrapbook pages, well done.
Stay safe and take care

Goodness, BJ what a hive of industry. You have been busy. I love the little rainbow! Any chance of sharing the pattern or is it copyright? I love the idea of it and it’s so pretty and cheerful. What a fantastic idea to yarn bomb the high street!! I’ve only ever seen it done once and it was such fun. I hope the journaling Bible comes soon - I’ve often thought about getting one but I always go back to my normal one which has all my notes written in it and I know my way around it so well - I’ve had it since 1995 and it’s pretty worn! Can you get journaling Bibles in different versions? I haven’t researched it very deeply. Also, what is the paper like for bleed-through?
ReplyDeleteHappy belated WOYWW,

Thank you for the link to your crochet page BJ, when I get chance I may be able to get to grips with the crochet rather than just chain stitch hee hee.. Thank YOU x
