I've been cutting out some shapes for the children to decorate their crowns as it is, "Our Queen" week as we celebrating her 90th birthday.
I even got to see her last Saturday as she drove past on her way to the races at Epsom. Queen post here.
Also, still on my desk, is the packaging from the "smart" clothes I bought my son last Wednesday for his work experience week in July. He's not had anything remotely smart since his school uniform of last year but fortunately his school shoes still fitted.
On the crafting front, I did throw a multitude of my birthday photos together, having previously "fussy cut" a lot of the butterflies out, into some sort of scrapbook page.
But really, crafting this week has be usurped by the annual Summertime Photography Scavenger Hunt 2016 as you'll see if you have a nosey at my last few blog posts!
Which leaves me wish you all a Happy WOYWW.
Your desk looks like mine this week! lol. I'm hoping to join in the scavenger hunt too! Elaine no. 20
ReplyDeleteLooks like you've been busy since last week and the photos of the queen are brilliant she looks so well, what a great lady. Have a crafty and very happy WOYWW, Angela xXx 26
ReplyDeleteGreat pics of the Queen! Hope the children have fun making their crowns, I remember doing that with the little ones at my school too! And my sons didn't have anything remotely smart until it came to interviews etc - their choice not mine!

Clever you at taking such brilliant Queen pics. A costly time buying smart clothes isn't it - I hope he enjoys his work experience. x Jo
ReplyDeleteHi BJ, I do hope his work experience goes well, what is he doing? And does he know what he'd like to do when he leaves school? Love your pages, by the way. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #9 xx
ReplyDeleteYou managed to get some great pics of the Queen - doesn't she look good for her age. I bet the kids will love decorating the crowns - what a lovely, fun project to do with them.

ReplyDeleteI so enjoyed reading your blogs about the photo hunt! I think I'll join in too!
ReplyDeleteI just spent half an hour looking at all your photos. It seems you already have most of them done. But as I understand it we have until September, so I can still join in I suppose.
I haven't even looked at your desk!
Happy WOYWW!

ReplyDeleteThe photography scavenger hunt sounds like a lot of fun. I am definitely going to check that out and might be joining in. I'm doing a photograph a day challenge, but might have to stop soon as I'll be going where I have no internet connection.
ReplyDeleteThe layout looks great. I love all the butterflies on the page.
Happy WOYWW
