About Me

My photo
Hi, Welcome to my Blog.I'm an eclectic kind of crafter delving into many pots. I am just about managing to keep up my Scrapbooking Diary, plus any cards as required. As my Carpal Tunnel allows I am getting into yarn/fabric crafts with slow stitching and needle felting added to my list. I continue with my love of Watercolour and Bible Journaling plus Faith/Art Journaling with acrylics and inks. I completed my challenge to make an art journal page a day for my 60th year in 2024. My list of crafty exploits includes ATCs, Tags, Altered Books, Mixed Media, Décopatch, Knitting, Crochet, and Embroidery. I live in Surrey, UK with my husband, our son has left home now. For exercise I usually play Badminton and go Ballroom and Latin Dancing. I also like Walking/Geocaching. I have been learning to play the harp for the past 10yrs. I am now officially retired. I am a born again Christian, currently worshiping at my local Evangelical Church.

WOYWW #879 - Wisley

Desk with more scrapping pending. Just 3 more pages left in my current 60 page album which will take me to the end of November 2025.

Don't really plan where my albums start/finish so it was a surprise to find out the next one will begin exactly with my hand operation on 1st Dec 2025!

I've scrapped a lot this past week - spurred on by my new dies methinks.

My son's final move out to his new flat with the help of a mate as hubby had come down with the virus I had which had caused the cancellation of my hand operation in October last year.

A friend's wedding at our church.

A walk in the woods, fireworks and some post Making Zen sewing.

Then our first visit to son's new flat, which marks a culmination of 9 pages devoted to the BIG move!

I used the left over piece of patterned paper to make a card too with a poppy I had painted a while back.

Yesterday we went to RHS Wisley to see the tulips, certainly a most impressive display.

Shame I has a headache all the day out and felt horrid all evening too. Definitely think all the sunshine made me feel so ill - oh well.

Happy WOYWW Everyone.

Wow, those tulips are stunning, those colours would make a great fabric! It’s that time of year isn’t for getting bugs etc, I’m fighting off a cold as well. Some great scrapbook pages again, you’re so prolific!

Love the poppy page, gorgeous. Bugs are all over at the moment, hope they go away soon. The tulips are beautiful but I understand the headache as I had one yesterday as I was sat in the car for about three hours with the sun shining directly at me but my migraleve did the trick when we finally arrived where we were going. Sending big woyww hugs, Angela x5x

Love the tulips. Do you suffer from hayfever because the pollen count is high at the mo and that doesn't help with headaches etc.

OMG those TULIPS! WOW. Stunning. I'd scan the bloom parts and use that for fabulous collage paper. Your layouts, as ever, make me happy to see scrapbooking front and center! Happy WOYWW!

That tulip photo would make a postcard, aren’t they lovely! So sorry that you find the sunshine makes you feel poorly, everyone bangs on about sunshine and Vitamin D, perhaps you just don’t need it. Lovely scrapping, you really are on a roll..nothing like something new to set you off, hope you’re enjoying it!

Wow! Amazing tulips! I'm still waiting for our first snowdrop...Great layouts, I really like the one with the map - 25 years from now when he forgets where his first place was you can pull it out and say "here!" Have a great week🌷🌼🌹🌸Lindart #14

those tulips are certainly a fantastic sight! Never really get to Wisley as so much traffic and queues in that area. Hope you're having a good week, I am still struggling to keep up (we also decided to start Spring cleaning this week) but a well deserved day of peace today as everyone else is out. (Scratch that - my daughter has just asked to come over!)
See you soon, love n hugs Cindyxx #13
