Yep something HAD to give if I was to get back into scrapping!Thanks to WOYWW and doing my replies a bit late last week I came across a scrapbook blog hop on Julia's page which spurred me back into my scrapping.
I've done a couple of pages and as you can see am planning the next ones too....
Last Saturday I had to make a card to be posted that day so this is what I came up with.I have started May's embroidery and was doing well until yesterday which turned out to be an "extra" busy day so I didn't do any embroidery at all. First day missed since 6th March! Yep something had to give!
The reason for my "extra" busy Tuesday was a visit to the opticians where I found I now need glasses for driving! Oh Dear!
During my visit, I had to move the car as they were running late and I had to drive home and then I had to drive to badminton volunteering in the afternoon and also to house group in the evening. Lots of driving. Oops!
Well I ordered some plain driving lenses via the internet when I got home (£19.40 inc P&P) They were dispatched yesterday so I am hopeful of them arriving today.
I also ordered some varifocals at Boots opticians too, they'll cost £145 and will take about a week.
Will this be the end of reading glasses dotted all around the house and in various bags??? I wonder?

I have varifocals and it has meant the end of taking glasses on and off to read (I am short sighted). Great scrapbooking pages. I don't dare start that in addition to cards and journals or I would have no time left for anything else lol. Sarah #25

Thrilled that a blog post managed to action your scrapbooking again! Weren't there some wonderful results from the NSD thread! I'm not surprised the embroidery had to stll for a day, crikey, you've had a lot on!

You're back into scrapping so that's good! This blog hop makes me like to try and produce at least one thing, even if it's a blob of gunk I just managed to get out of a jar. I need encouragement. Perhaps we both needed some nudging?

All the crafting is beautiful this week...your LOs are fab and the embroidery is already looking interesting! I tried varifocal contact lenses for a while, I couldn't get used to them...sigh!

Got side tracked so am running late.
I never lose my glasses, well rarely, but then they are perched on the end of my nose all the time. Sadly it comes to us all.

Wouldn't it be nice not to have reading glasses all over the house! It will take a week or so to get used to the new glasses (it did for me, anyway), especially going down stairs! Mine are progressives - no lines - will yours have the lines? I love the card with the fairy sitting inside the number 4 - brilliant! Happy belated WOYWW! Lindart #37
