In a state of flux.
The lounge ceiling is in need of rescue and guess whose bedroom is above it?
Which meant moving my wardrobe, chest of drawers and bookcase.
And so many boxes seem to have accumulated on top and under my wardrobe. So much STUFF on the bookcase and everywhere!
Here's a close up of the embroidered sheep and bobbin lace swan pictures. Also the two hand cut silhouettes (which my hubby has just found) which were done 18 years ago!
I did do a couple of scrapbook pages over the weekend though, but won't be doing much this week as I re-evaluate all the stuff coming back into my room OR NOT!
Happy WOYWW Everyone!

WOYWW #385 - Greys with an Accent Colour
The theme for this month's SWAP on UKPC is:-
Greys with an Accent Colour of Your Choice.
The 2 cards done so far have turquoise and pink so I went with orange.
I had pondered this for a while and had to force myself (yet again) to sit at my desk and actually DO something.
SAD light on and it seems to have done the trick too.
I used various grey pieces of card for the oak leaves and Spiced Marmalade and Iced Spruce inks.
Thought the corners cut out added a nice feature plus my usual liquid pearls and stickles.
Here's my finished card - phew done it!

WOYWW #384 - Pushed Myself!
I seem to have the energy of a gnat these days. Do anything energetic (like going up stairs) and my pulse goes whoosh. I feel like I have a mild flu but really I think it is the hormonal battle raging within.
I did sort of manage badminton last night but I had to take the box anyway. Thought it would either make or break me. I didn't play as many games as usual and didn't play two is a row either and after an energetic rally I got mildly dizzy, but I'm still here to tell the tale.
Anyway I forced myself to at least stick down a LO before even attempting a blog post. Also to sit by my SAD light for at least an hour hoping this dark cloud would lift. Probably need to do this EVERY day.
Well I did said LO and then went on the do a second. I sorted my brick wall of the cycling photos by deciding NOT to bother scrapping them at all which was a great decision. After all I have never scrapped any badminton photos of me, why should my DH get all the glory!
So there we have it, 2 pages with a sort of railway theme.
One where we went geocaching down some local footpaths we would never have known were there, which took us over the railway.
The second of seeing the Flying Scotsman Locomotive from the bridge at Preschool after a meeting. Best attended preschool social outing to date they said (it was my first - LOL)

WOYWW #383 - It Gets No better!
Oh dear, it doesn't get much better at my craft table.
I think the light is on but nobody's home!
I did stick down last week's pending pages and get out the next set of photos. I'm getting a tad sick of bike photos so might have to stop getting all those printed!
It's no good if you don't have any inclination let alone inspiration.
Life's little traumas still haunt me.
Last week I pulled something in my back on Thursday so couldn't work nor run my badminton club. Nor could I drive my car to the garage on Friday to get the oil leak sorted.
My back was a whole lot better by Sunday though.
Therefore today my car was taken away on a lorry to be fixed. It's had a small oil leak for a while which I only noticed a fortnight ago. My local garage (where I had it serviced and MOTed said they couldn't find anything and to keep an eye on it) not amused! And when the battery died the other week I asked the RAC man his advice and he gave me a couple of cards for other RAC approved garages as he said he could clearly see it was still leaking.
So I am carless and will have to take the bus to work tomorrow!
